However, these days a valve company has to do more than just sell or fix it and forget about it. That is why at Precision, in addition to expert repair capabilities, we also provide total valve management services, including valve survey programs, inventory management, and training services.
GREEN TAG CENTER
Dresser's extensive Factory Authorized Green Tag Repair training, one of the mandatory requirements prior to certification, is the best available in our industry today--and complements the valve repair (VR) programs offered by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors.
Each of our technician gains classroom and hands-on experience then, each must pass written exams and a series of practical tests which include the assembly and testing of selected valves. Only then, do qualifying technicians become certified Green Tag Experts. Annual examination and recertification is a must.
Each Green Tag Center establishes and maintains a Certificate of Authorization from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers to use the V and UV symbols for the assembly, set and testing of pressure relief valves. Similarly, each Center also qualifies for and maintains a Certificate of Authorization from the National Board to use the valve repair (VR) symbol.
But that's not all. Each Center must comply with Dresser's stringent facility requirements as well and is awarded Green Tag Center certification only after successful completion of an audit conducted by Dresser. Facility certification is required to be kept current at all times.
In short, we know that product quality is your best reason for doing business with the Green Tag team. Our goals are valve safety and customer satisfaction. That is what the small Green Tag attached to each valve certifies.
VALV-KEEP II
Valv-Keep II is a state of the art, fully customizable valve management database system designed to assist our customers with the storage, monitoring, and maintenance of their safety, safety relief, control, and block/line valve historical information. With a variety of reporting methods, this program can greatly assist our customers in maintaining their equipment with day to day and outage maintenance needs required to comply with OSHA regulations. CONTROL AND MANUAL VALVE SERVICES
Precision Pump & Valve Service has complete control valve repair and recalibration capabilities, both in our shop and in the field. We have repair certifications for various manufacturers, including Valtek, Masoneilan, Fisher, and Durco. We can calibrate smart positioners and perform diagnostic testing utilizing both handheld programmers and computer software. We are actively entering into the controls and instrumentation market, and currently are offering flow meters and transmitters to the municipal market.
